If a student commits a serious violation of school/District rules, he/she will be suspended from school for 1 to 5 days.  In addition, continued defiance, class or school disruption, and fighting will result in suspension from school for 1 to 5 days.  If a student is suspended, he/she is not allowed on or around school campus at anytime during the duration of the suspension.  It is important to note that California Education Code states that teachers do not have to provide work for a student who has been suspended from school.  While suspended, students may not be on any school campus, or attend any school sponsored function.  In addition, time on the no activities list may not be worked off if the suspension is a second suspension and/or more than 3 days of suspension.
