Verification of Residency

Verification of Oakley Union School District Residency

OUESD and California State Law require that a student provide proof that his/her LEGAL GUARDIAN’S residence is within the attendance boundary of the District prior to student enrollment.

Parents of all new students must present proof of residency upon registration with any two of the following:

  1. Escrow papers showing purchase and legal guardian’s name.
  2. Rental agreement with a canceled check or receipt showing manager’s name and phone number and guardian’s name.
  3. Current PG&E bill or deposit receipt showing correct address and legal guardian’s name.
  4. Current telephone bill showing correct address and legal guardian’s name.
  5. Current water bill showing address and legal guardian’s name.
  6. Homeowner’s insurance statement showing correct address and legal guardian’s name.
  7. Current Tax return
  8. Proof of Residence (notarized)
