For All After-School Sports:

  • A permission slip is necessary to try out.  CLICK HERE to download, print and sign.
  • Return the signed permission slip to the coach.
  • You cannot be on the non-activities list for discipline or grades.
  • Student athletes are responsible to keep their grades above a 2.0 and have no more than 1 F or 1 U
  • Students will be notified of all upcoming sports by daily bulletin/posters in 6th grade classrooms and announcements in 7th/8th grade PE classes
  • Once your child has been officially offered a position on any team CLICK HERE to download the student athlete packet.  Please complete all forms and return to the coach prior to the 1st game to ensure participation.  No play time will be awarded until this packet is completed and returned.
  • If students are sent to ACL or are removed from their classroom for discipline, they may not participate in practice or games the day of the infraction.  If there is no practice/game on that day, the student stays off the court/field the following practice/game day.  Parents will be notified as soon as possible if this occurs.
  • All student athletes must be picked up from games or practices, whether home or away, within 15 minutes of the event ending.  If your student athlete cannot be picked up in the allotted time, he or she will be removed from the team.



Timeline for all sports

Girls Softball and Boys Volleyball – tryouts will be the first week of school

Boys/Girls Flag Football – No tryouts.  Intramurals - 2 days a week practice/games

Wrestling and Cross Country – No tryouts needed, practice starts September

Girls Basketball – Tryouts late September

Boys Basketball – Tryouts mid-December

Track – No tryouts, practice starts March

Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Girls Volleyball – Tryouts prior to spring break
