Missing school makes school harder...

Understandably students will get sick sometimes and need to stay home. The important thing is to get to school as often as possible to help stay on track with assignments.

Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Gould is an outstanding educator, student advocate and teacher leader at Delta Vista Middle School. Mrs. Gould is our department lead for Mathematics and also 6th grade PE and has continually worked with administration and fellow department members to grow the 6th grade PE program to what it is today. Mrs. Gould is a pleasure to work with, and has a positive/upbeat personality in all of her interactions.  She always looks for the “win win” in any situation she is presented.   She goes the extra mile not only for her classroom students, but ALL students at DVMS.

Mrs. Gould is a founding member of our very successful One Oakley Mentors. Working in collaboration with our school counselor, administration and district program specialist, she is leading a group of students to positively change the culture and address the needs of the DMVS student community.  We congratulate Mrs. Gould on her Teacher of the Year recognition. She is very deserving of his honor and we are proud to have her as a part of our Panther staff!

Congratulations Mrs. Gould!
